HISTORY: PEAK-STUDIOS - MIXING & MASTERING
Peak-Studios – Mixing and Mastering (formerly “Thug-Music Musicproduction”) was founded in 2006 in Würzburg. This online mastering studio has since been mixing and mastering music in well over 50 countries, with more than 1,000 song productions per year. Peak-Studios was one of the first professional online service providers for online mixing and online mastering. Core areas of expertise include stem mastering and audio restoration. Hip-hop, trap, pop, EDM, rock and punk rock are among the main genres we work on daily for our clients.

2006
Thug-Music Musicproduction was founded. Our work focused on mixing and mastering, mainly for clients in the USA, New Zealand and Canada.
2008
Productions for artists such as Lutendberg and Kluge, Snowgoons, Wu-Tang, Pretty Ricky, King Gordy and many more.
2010
Renamed to "Peak-Studios - Mixing and Mastering"
2011
"Class Strugle" by Alterbeats (France) received a Product of the Year award in France.
2015
Winner of the German Rock & Pop Prize: "Best German Newcomer Pop Song - So Izzy"
2018
Winner of the German Rock & Pop Prize “Best German Hip Hop Newcomer – Thööö”
Peak-Studios was selected as 4th Best “Europe’s Best Online Mixing and Mastering Studio 2018”. Exceptional client support is especially important to CEO Chris Jones, who regularly speaks out about poor service standards in Germany.
Chris Jones has published in Recording Magazin and Tonspion, and has frequently appeared on the Masterlab Academy NightTalk.
Participation in a song production in the preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Opening of the Bamberg studio.

Completion of the B-Studio.
Studio build consultancy in Kellmünz/Allgäu.

Expansion: Berlin recording studio.
