    We are known and awarded for our support. With us, no inquiry stays unanswered for long. Typically, during business hours, you will receive a response within 3 hours - at most within 6 hours.

    A test mastering (Stereo eMaster) is easily accessible at Peak-Studios in just a few steps. If your mix is ​​not of sufficient quality, we are happy to advise you and provide the necessary mixing tips to enhance your song.

    What does mixing including mastering cost?

    Prices for analog mixing and mastering vary significantly depending on the quality of the raw material and the desired final sound of the song. Below is an example calculation for typical song projects with analog mixing and mastering:

    To make the pricing of recording studios easier to understand, especially for our online mixing services and mastering studio, we explain the calculation with a practical example. Not every detail required to process an order is listed here, but the times shown are included in the total working time for each individual task.

    • Song: 6 vocal tracks, 20 instrumental tracks
    • Quality: better home production (equipment and acoustics for approx. 2000 €)
    • Price: €300 (€10/track including mastering) – this figure is based on time tracking from individual track projects over the past 20 years.

    WHAT DOES A MIXING OR MASTERING ENGINEER ACTUALLY OFFER WITH THEIR “EXPENSIVE” PRICE?

    That gives us an approximate total of about €300 for the mix. But how much of that actually remains for the engineer?

    We asked ourselves the same question, so here is the breakdown:

    CONCLUSION OF THE CALCULATION:

    As we determined above, we earned € 300 for one Mix and Master . However, there are still expenses to be made before we can calculate our actual hourly wage.

    Here, we can see that the mixing engineer or Mastering Engineer on average, has an hourly wage of € 41,67 . For this, they have years of experience, possibly one or more degrees, learned countless instruments, and invested a significant amount of money, time and uncertainty about the future.

    We personally leave it to everyone to judge the adequacy of this result. We just want to point out the tiny ingredient that unfortunately cannot be measured with money: the creative energy and passion for music! Whether it is in mixing or in Audio Mastering of music. This is simply priceless!
