Classical Mixing FAQ
What is the difference between classical mixing and normal mixing?
Classical mixing isn't about loudness or effects overload—it's about naturalness, depth, and space. We focus on unadulterated dynamics, precise positioning, and an authentic overall sound.
Which track formats should I provide?
Individual WAV tracks in 24-bit/48 kHz or higher are best. For stems or large orchestral recordings, group tracks are also welcome – it's important to have clear labels and avoid effects like reverb or limiters.
Do you preserve the natural dynamics of my recording?
Yes! Our focus is on musical transparency – we consciously avoid aggressive compression and preserve quiet and loud passages in the proportions they were intended to be.
Is your mix broadcast-ready or suitable for CD?
Of course. We mix on reference monitors in an acoustically optimized environment – broadcast-ready for CD, radio, TV, stage, and streaming services.
Can I also have film music or hybrid orchestral works mixed?
Absolutely. We regularly handle projects with a wide dynamic range – including film scores, trailers, theater music, and modern crossover productions. We're broadly positioned in this regard, combining musical understanding with sensitivity.
