Guide to recording, mixing and mastering

in our audio glossary (audio encyclopedia) we would like to point out some terms related to music, audio, recording, mixing and mastering, as well as acoustics and explain them in more detail. The aim should be to regularly expand this glossary in order to create permanently good content that should support musicians in their plans to produce high-quality music and provide suitable tricks. We are open to suggestions for explanations. Who wants to write something about a term. can of course do this too. At least 300-400 words and a generally understandable explanation of the term are required here.

THEMES OVERVIEW

Praise, criticism, suggestion

In the long term, a music lexicon is to be created here, which enables the reader to understand terms relating to the music industry, mixing and mastering. We try to provide a detailed description, but we are also not perfect and look forward to any constructive criticism.
