What is digital mastering?

Digital mastering can mean two things. Digital mastering refers to both a mastering that was created using only software plugins and a mastering that was created specifically according to the specifications for publication on digital platforms such as streaming services, websites or videos (Streaming Mastering). The two types of digital mastering are not necessarily related.

A mastering based purely on software plugins can be created for CD, vinyl as well as for streaming services or video. We offer this purely software-based mastering to our price-conscious customers at a reduced price.

A mastering that meets the standards for digital publications (e.g. according to EBI128 or AES Digital Publishing Guidelines), can also be created with hardware equipment. About our Online upload form A mastering can be selected at any time according to the guidelines for digital publishing.
